In this farcical comedy, three rogues set up a quack’s practice in an abandoned house.
"Under Milk Wood" evokes the Wales of Dylan Thomas’ life and recollections exuding warmth, humour and pathos in equal measure. The play deals with life, love and loss and conjures the intimate dreams and desires of the colourful inhabitants of a fictional seaside town.
The opera, based on the play that is thought to have been written by Shakespeare at the express request of Queen Elizabeth I, was composed by Otto Nicolai. Its revival by Surrey Opera, in a brand-new English translation written especially for this production, turns it back into a very English entertainment. It will be performed with full chorus and orchestra in a specially commissioned arrangement for Minack.

Carnon Downs Drama Group presents Kenneth Grahame's classic (partly inspired by the Fowey River)

The Tower Theatre Company’s production features all the best-loved moments of Lewis Carroll’s two “Alice” books. The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, The Queen of Hearts’ croquet match, Tweedledum and Tweedledee and Jabberwocky are all there: over forty characters in total.
Enjoy the thills and spills of medieval jousting and cheer on your favourite knight as our cometitors break lances in real mounted combat. The Knights' teams compete in foot combat, archery and mounted skill at arms, and further entertainment is provided by our own jester, wandering minsrels and falcondy displays.

"Pitchside" written by Nick Whitby (Smack the Pony) . This is an outdoor production by a new theatre group from West Cornwall - True West Productions.

Theatre workshop presents Louisa May Alcott's much-loved story of 19th-century New England life.
After the success of last year's event, we thought we'd make it last longer! There will be 2 venues in the main garden area. Jazz starts at 2pm and finishes at 10pm.
Bands taking part at various times over the 2 days are the Great Western Jazz Company, Black Rock Jazz Band, Pennyroyal Jazz Band, New Delta Jazz Band, Roy Pellett Swingtet and the Funny Feathers 6.

Theatre Workshop presents Thomas Hardy's classic tragedy of rural life.
Charley Wyckham and Jack Chesney pressure fellow student Fancourt Babberly to pose as Charley’s Brazilian Aunt Donna Lucia - their purpose is to have a chaperone for their amorous visits with Amy and Kitty, niece and ward of crusty Stephen Spettigue. Complications begin when Fancourt, in drag,becomes the love object of old Spettigue and Sir Francis Chesney.
Take part in games and activities and learn about King Arthur, robin Hood and other local myths and legends.
Come to meet and greet owls of the Screech Owl Sanctuary. Free to all to come and stroke and learn more about these fascinating birds.
The owls will be on show on Mount Folly Square in front of Shire Hall from 10am until 4pm. If wet, the owls will be inside the Shire Hall.
Led by local historian Peter Davies, the guided walk around the historic town of Bodmin will be preceeded by a slide show in the Shire Hall, giving a flavour of Bodmin's past. Written in 1790, "Wild Oats" is a rip-roaring, fast paced comedy telling the story of Jack Rover.
The play tells the story of how Rover, the star in a travelling troupe of actors,is persuaded to undertake the role of his friend Harry Thunder, in order to present himself as suitor to Harry’s cousin Amaranth, and how, by doing so, he sets in motion a whole series of mistaken identities and ingenious intrigues.
Join us for a spectacular day in the company of desperate buccaneers and dashing highwayment - horses will gallop and duels shall be founght! Inckludes the roar of cannon fire from our own recreated pirate gun deck, plus performances of 'The highwayman's Petticoat', storytellers, musicians and children's activities for apprentice bandits.

This event is for Children's Hospice Precious Lives Appeal helping to raise funds and profile for their project to have a specific Hospice within Cornwall, due to be built near St Austell.

Whilst many people enjoy Yeomen because of its ever-changing emotional balance of joy and despair, love and sacrifice, it is certainly the most serious of the Gilbert and Sullivan operas.
The opera ends with a broken-hearted main character and at least two reluctant engagements, rather than the usual armful of marriages. However, there are also plenty of topsy-turvy plot complications, and many believe that the score is Sullivan’s finest.
